Control of driving habits

Detailed analysis of all the driving styles of your vehicles to allow logistical cost savings, accident prevention and thus prolong your vehicles' useful life.

Control of driving habits

Unlike other fleet management solutions, GAVL offers prevention-oriented targeting of control types with Care Driving, Eco Driving, and Driving Behavior options using obtaining driving events generated by the GPS locators themselves and own business rules that can be defined individually by each client by taking the associated vehicle type into account. All the information generated by the different types of events allows the creation of rankings of drivers that are easy to interpret and quick to operate to correct detours or simply train drivers who need it.

Driving Control Types

Care Driving: This concept refers mainly to the events that need to be controlled to ensure careful driving, in terms of one's own safety as well as that of any third-party, as well as factoring in the environment in which the driving takes place. The most common controls are carried out on distractions behind the wheel, use of moving mobile phones, drowsiness or driving into the opposite lanes. The use of MDVR GPS locators is usually the primary means of achieving these goals.

Driving Behavior: This is the usual control section. It focuses on the collection of driving events in terms of acceleration, braking or sharp turns. In addition to controlling the aforementioned typical events, we offer the possibility of detecting speeding not only defined by each client but also speeding in real time on each road on which the vehicle is moving.

Eco Driving: This concept centralizes the events and actions that determine the efficient use of each of the vehicles in the fleet in terms of efficient fuel consumption and control of Co2 emissions. Critical variables to consider are the time spent while idling, RPM and gear control and driving times in each state.
